On Sunday afternoon, I hosted a booth for Smash Events at a bridal fair!   At 9:30 am, armed with  2 monitors, 2 laptops, a bouquet of flowers, a table cloth, a rug from West Elm, newly printed fliers,  and an assistant (and sister) that any professional would kill for, I journeyed down to the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs to share Smash Events with many eager and excited brides.  The day was a success and I was grateful for the opportunity to not only meet some really fun brides but also their mothers, sisters, friends, fiances and fathers.

Being my first bridal fair booth, I took the “less is more” approach to the layout of our display.  When brides walk through fairs, there is so much to look at, take in, and process.  Most vendors are selling a specific product at these events but as an event planner, I am my own product more so than anything else.  For this reason, I wanted to be able to just connect with each bride and convey the benefits of hiring an event coordinator.  Here are some samples of my set up and the ultra-fab fliers that Troy DeRose from Fixer Design created.  He outdid himself, as he always does!
